Every other Friday, we encounter a “fresh face” in a Bollywood film, who incidentally, is touted to be the next big thing and before you know it, she disappears without a trace. :(

Ever noticed that this happens way too often with Salman Khan’s leading ladies? *Eerie* It’s almost like these debutantes get sucked in to a black hole and are transported to a secret island where they are forced to watch reruns of their failed films. Okay, so enough with the morbidity, here are 7 Bollywood Debuntates Who Disappeared Without A Trace:

1. Sneha Ullal
Her lips weren’t so lucky after all! Most popularly known as Aishwarya Rai’s doppleganger, Sneha Ulal failed to move Bollywood. Her film- LUCKY .

2. Zarine Khan
It’s rather unfortunate that Zarine Khan had to start her career with a film like Veer but this isn’t a testimony to her acting prowess. Zarine Khan did a jig here and there and then hopped on the fast train to oblivion.

3. Sonal Chauhan
Also known as numer 144237 on Emraan Hashmi’s hit list, Sonal Chauhan left Hollywood for a cushy spot on Pg3. Yes, she isn’t doing anything. Movie - jannat & 3G .

4. Shriya Saran
If you’re scratching your head trying to recall who she is, we don’t need to explain further.

5. Gayatri Joshi
She was pretty damn great in Swades, it’s a shame we didn’t see more of her.

6. Sagarika Ghatge
She was going to be the IT girl of Bollywood, what with all the publicity she got during Chak De. It all amounted to nothing.

7. Gracy Singh
Why Gracy Why, why would you deliberately work with Kamaal R Khan? We all shed a tear at the time.
